José Carlos Mota was the big winner of Stage 6 of BikeFantasy - Itzulia Basque Country with his pick of Yates Adam (Mitchelton-Scott), who ranked in position 1 on stage Eibar › Eibar, lasting 119 kms. On the road, the winner was Yates Adam (Mitchelton-Scott).

Although João Daniel, runner-up on the stage, picked the same first rider, the win was awarded to José Carlos Mota given that the second pick, Izagirre Ion (Astana Pro Team), ranked better, in position 4.
