Rixtell was the big winner of Stage 5 of BikeFantasy - Volta ao Algarve with his pick of KÜNG Stefan (Groupama - FDJ), who ranked in position 1 on stage Lagoa - Lagoa (ITT), lasting 25 kms. On the road, the winner was KÜNG Stefan (Groupama - FDJ).

Although Nicolas ANCEAU, runner-up on the stage, picked the same rider(s), the win was awarded to Rixtell for having submitted the pick before the opponent.
