Paulo Simoes was the big winner of Stage 1 of BikeFantasy - Tour of Chongming Island with his pick of van Rooijen Sofie (UAE Team ADQ), who ranked in position 2 on stage Chongming - Chongming, lasting 109 kms. On the road, the winner was Baker Georgia (Liv AlUla Jayco).

Although Carol Knezevic, runner-up on the stage, picked the same first rider, the win was awarded to Paulo Simoes given that the second pick, Copponi Clara (Lidl - Trek), ranked better, in position 20.
